Electrode Level Switch

The Sos Pump Electrode Level Switch is an innovative level switch that can be easily mounted on the handle of a pump. This switch is specially designed for use in small spaces where traditional level switches perform less well.

The Electrode Level Switch allows you to set the on and off level quickly and accurately, even down to a water level of only 2 mm. The switch has three electrodes that indicate Earth, Start and Stop respectively. The connection between the pump and the level switch is easily established via the mating plug of the level switch.

The operation of the electrodes, also called rods, is as follows:

Earth Electrode : This electrode is always located at the bottom of the space in which the pump operates. The earth electrode acts as a reference point for the other electrodes and provides a stable basis for the measurements.

Start Electrode : This electrode is placed at the height at which the water level should activate the pump. When the water reaches this level, it makes contact with the start electrode, sending a signal to the pump to start pumping. This prevents the water level from getting too high and causing possible flooding.

Stop Electrode : This electrode is positioned at the point where the pump is to stop operating. When the water level drops and no longer makes contact with the stop electrode, it sends a signal to the pump to turn off. This ensures that the pump stops once the water has drained to a safe, low level.
